3rd GPSC Meeting is a global conference which was successfully held on 16-20 September in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This five days programme was attended by government leaders, city practitioners and global experts which played as a platform to explore how they can work together in planning, finance and sustainable development implementation. There were three key urban development partners—the World Bank’s Global Platform for Sustainable Cities (GPSC), Brazil’s Sustainable Cities Program (SCP), and the host city of São Paulo—which collaborated to organize the conference. For this year, the conference headlined by a Mayors’ Roundtable which attracted all participant which consist of leaders in high-level plenaries from national governments, international organizations, and the private sector. As part of this conference, there also was SCP’s Sustainable Cities Award Ceremony which showcased Brazil’s best urban solutions and launch of Brazil’s Sustainable Cities Knowledge Platform and Innovation Observatory, which are led by Brazil’s Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovation, and Communication.
