Cities 4.0 was successfully held on 23-24 September 2019 at Hotel Istana, Kuala Lumpur.
This 2nd edition of Cities 4.0 conference and exhibition was co-organised by Ministry of Housing and Local Government, Human Life Advancement Foundation and Confexhub Group with support by MIGHT, MDEC,MARii, MIDA and SME Corp. The opening ceremony for Cities 4.0 was launched by Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad via video recording and officiated by YB Puan Hajah Zuraida Binti Kamaruddin, Minister of Ministry of Housing and Local Government. In conjunction to Cities 4.0, YB Puan Hajah Zuraida Binti Kamaruddin, Minister, Ministry of Housing and Local Government launched the MALAYSIA Smart City Framework.
As part of this conference, five Malaysia Smart Cities Alliance (MSCA) Members took part to exhibit their product and service on smart city solutions. The Booths are as follows:
D12: Chulia Facilities Management Sdn Bhd; D23A: Iskandar Malaysia; D27: PCOM Technologies; D26: CapVen Consultancy Sdn Bhd and D25:3Opp Sdn Bhd.
Dr. Raslan Ahmad, SVP, MIGHT gave a Special Address on Moving Towards Smart Sustainable Cities Through Partnership. Cities 4.0 aimed to provide an interactive platform for governments, municipalities, urban planners, developers, urban futurists, solution providers and innovators to converge and make positive impact in shaping resilient and sustainable cities. In conclusion, Cities 4.0 managed to gather the public and Association of Southeast Asian Nations region to explore on ideas and strategies in elevating the smart city concept and digital adoption in the region.
