Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) assisted Municipal Development Agency (MDA) with a Study Tour Visit to Malaysia from 19 – 23 August 2019. The objective of the study tour is to explore innovative experience and learn more in developing the evidence base and knowledge for the development of sustainable and resilient cities.
To support the sustainable agenda initiatives, we hold interactive knowledge sharing sessions together and site visits for the Senegal delegation with the Malaysia smart cities Alliance (MSCA) stakeholders, Municipalities, Industry players, academia and government agencies in the area of smart city development. This study tour involves 19 Senegal delegation, which consists of senior staff, civil servants from partner administrations, and elected representatives of municipalities and two representatives from the Senegal embassy.
This study tour ended with courtesy visit to Chief Minister of Melaka and Mayor of Melaka Historic City Councils. We believed that both parties had gained much knowledge and new ideas through every session held in Klang Valley, Putrajaya and Melaka
