MSCA, together with members of MIFA, attended a meeting with Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK) to discuss potential collaboration in advancing skills development within the smart city ecosystem on 4 May 2026.
The session was led by MSCA Honorary Treasurer, Paul, and attended by MSCA member, Zamreen of UiTM. During the meeting, MSCA proposed the development of certification programmes related to smart cities, aimed at strengthening industry capabilities and supporting the growing demand for skilled talent in this sector.
As a next step, MSCA is planning to pursue the establishment of an Industry Lead Body (ILB) to support the development and implementation of these certification initiatives.
