MSCA welcomed the visit by Mr Ooli Gunalan, Senior Undersecretary (Management) of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), together with his delegation, to the Smart City Experience & Next Innovation Centre (SCENIC).
The programme was chaired by Ts. Dr. Muzzammil from MIGHT and served as a platform to showcase innovative smart city technologies developed by Malaysian companies while fostering engagement between government and industry stakeholders.
During the visit, six MSCA member companies presented their smart city solutions, namely Vectolabs, Elix Solutions, CALMS Technologies, Map2U, Mobiva, and Bateriku. Each company demonstrated innovative technologies and solutions that support the development of smarter, more sustainable, and resilient cities.
The visit provided an opportunity for the delegation to gain a better understanding of the capabilities and innovations offered by Malaysian technology providers. The positive engagement highlighted the growing strength of the local smart city ecosystem and the importance of continued collaboration between the public and private sectors.
MSCA is also encouraged by MOSTI’s intention to invite the Association to participate in the upcoming ASEAN Science Summit. The Association looks forward to further engagement and will share additional information once the official invitation and programme details are confirmed.
MSCA extends its appreciation to all participating member companies for their valuable contributions and commitment in showcasing Malaysian innovation.
