The Malaysia Smart Cities Alliance Association (MSCA) recently undertook a courtesy visit to Majlis Bandaraya Subang Jaya (MBSJ), led by MSCA Chairman, Ts. Dr. Raslan Ahmad.
The delegation was warmly received by YBhg. Dato’ Haji Rumaizi bin Baharin @ Md Daud, Mayor of MBSJ, together with YBrs. Tuan Haji Mohd. Zulkurnain bin Che Ali, Deputy Mayor of MBSJ.
The engagement marked MSCA’s first visit to MBSJ following its admission as an Associate Member of MSCA earlier this year. The meeting provided an opportunity for both parties to strengthen their relationship and exchange perspectives on the development of smart and sustainable cities.
Discussions covered areas including smart city development, digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence (AI), as well as opportunities to connect MBSJ with relevant stakeholders across the MSCA ecosystem. This includes local authorities, government agencies, technology providers, industry players and other strategic partners.
As MBSJ continues its efforts to develop Subang Jaya as a sustainable, liveable and competitive smart city, MSCA looks forward to supporting the Council by facilitating knowledge exchange, industry connections and opportunities for collaboration within the smart city ecosystem.
