MSCA Half-Day Strategy Retreat Brings Members Together to Shape the Association’s Way Forward

admin September 3, 2026 0 Comments

The Malaysia Smart Cities Alliance Association (MSCA) recently organised its Half-Day Strategy Retreat, bringing together 20 participants from MSCA member organisations for a focused discussion on the Association’s strategic direction and how MSCA can continue to deliver greater value to its members.

Held as a platform for members to share their experiences, perspectives and expectations, the retreat provided an opportunity to better understand the needs of the MSCA membership and identify areas where the Association can strengthen its support for the smart city ecosystem.

Key discussions focused on several areas, including structured engagement with local authorities (PBTs), improving visibility and access to relevant opportunities, and developing consortium-based approaches for potential projects. Members also expressed interest in contributing more actively through working groups, consortium opportunities and the sharing of industry case studies and experiences.

The insights gathered during the retreat will serve as valuable input for MSCA in shaping its future programmes, member engagement and strategic initiatives.

MSCA extends its appreciation to MIGHT team for facilitating the discussion, as well as to all participating members for their time, openness and valuable contributions.

The Association looks forward to building on the discussions and translating the ideas gathered into meaningful actions that strengthen the MSCA ecosystem and create greater opportunities for its members.
