Barcelona – Ts Dr Raslan Ahmad presented on Incorporate Innovative Approaches For Risk Reduction And Climate Actions For Smart And Sustainable City Development at Smart Cities Challenges 2023 @ Smart City Expo World Congress.
This presentation highlighted on the initiatives toward creating partnership & collaboration to solve climate changes issues effecting urban area. Malaysia specifically, embarked a policy on National Low carbon Cities Masterplan aimed at transforming the cities into low carbon settlement. Cyberjaya cities is highlighted as exemplary of low carbon city initiative with multiple stakeholders’ engagement toward smart and low carbon cities target which driven by ESG frameworks of implementation.
Formerly known as the Brokerage Event, smart cities challenges 2023 is an international matchmaking activity offering 30-minute B2B and B2P meetings for SMEs, start-ups, entrepreneurs, universities, research groups, corporations, and institutions to find partners for collaborations such as product development, manufacturing, licensing agreements, and joint ventures.
Also present during this session were representatives from Colombia, German, South Korea and Mexico.
