On 9 June 2026, the Malaysia Smart Cities Alliance Association (MSCA) conducted a courtesy visit to Majlis Bandaraya Seberang Perai (MBSP) at Bandar Perda.
The meeting was chaired by YBhg. Dato’ Hj Baderul Amin, Mayor of Seberang Perai, and served as a valuable platform for discussions on smart city development, urban innovation, and potential areas of collaboration between MBSP and industry stakeholders.
The MSCA delegation was led by its Chairman, Dr. Raslan Ahmad, and included representatives from several MSCA member companies, namely AWC Berhad, Bateriku (M) Sdn Bhd, Vectolabs Technologies Sdn Bhd, eMooVit Technology Sdn Bhd, Cre8 IoT Sdn Bhd, CALMS Technologies Sdn Bhd, and Managepay Systems Sdn Bhd.
The engagement provided an opportunity for participating members to introduce their respective solutions and share insights on how technology, digital innovation, and smart solutions can support local government priorities and contribute to the advancement of smart city initiatives.
The session also facilitated meaningful exchanges between MBSP and industry representatives, fostering greater understanding of current urban challenges and opportunities for collaboration in delivering sustainable, citizen-centric, and future-ready city solutions.
