The Malaysia Smart Cities Alliance Association (MSCA) conducted a courtesy visit to Iskandar Investment Berhad (IIB) as part of its ongoing stakeholder engagement programme in Johor.
The MSCA delegation was led by Chairman, Ts. Dr. Raslan Ahmad, together with representatives from MSCA member companies. MSCA was welcomed by Krishnamoorthy, Senior Vice President, Business Development, who hosted the meeting and provided the delegation with a tour of the IIB Experience Centre. The visit offered valuable insights into IIB’s role in driving the development of Iskandar Malaysia, as well as its strategic initiatives, investment priorities, and long-term vision for sustainable urban growth.
The engagement also served as a platform for both parties to exchange perspectives on smart city development and discuss areas of mutual interest. Representatives from MSCA member companies had the opportunity to introduce their respective solutions and capabilities, while exploring how innovation and technology could support future urban development initiatives within the Iskandar Malaysia ecosystem.
MSCA also introduced the Association’s role in advancing Malaysia’s smart city agenda through strategic collaboration, industry engagement, and knowledge sharing. As part of the engagement, IIB was invited to become part of the MSCA network, with the aim of fostering closer collaboration and creating greater opportunities for industry participation in future smart city initiatives.
MSCA extends its sincere appreciation to Mr. Krishnamoorthy and the IIB team for their warm hospitality and insightful discussion.
