Municipal Finance Training is led by United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) which aimed to assist cities for example for Malaysia Cities, to devise an action plan toward that goal, as well as support the cities to implement the plan. Besides, the training also offered drawing materials and experts that builds on the experience of the City Creditworthiness Academy.
United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) together with Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) and Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) organize the 2nd Series of Municipal Finance Training held on 27 – 28 March 2019 at MIGHT Partnership Hub Cyberjaya. The first series was successfully held on 27-29 March 2019. This training involved 13 municipalities and 2 Malaysia Smart Cities Alliance members, with a total of 26 participants.
The pre-assessment was conducted through conference call from 13- 16 August 2019 before the actual training. This is to prepare and expose the participants to the content and requirement of the training. The training program was conducted successfully, and we receive an overwhelmingly positive response from the participant.
