MSCA conducted a follow-up engagement session with Malaysian Research Accelerator for Technology and Innovation (MRANTI) today, 12 May 2026 at the MRANTI office. The session was chaired by Dr. Raslan and attended by several MSCA members, namely Three OPP (M) Sdn Bhd, BCN Smart Technologies Sdn Bhd, Digital Parking Solution, CALMS Technologies Sdn Bhd, Map2U Sdn Bhd, and Systems Consultancy Services Sdn Bhd.
The meeting served as a platform to further discuss national smart city challenges and explore areas of collaboration between MRANTI and MSCA members. During the session, MRANTI shared its current priorities, areas of interest, Smart City RFP opportunities, as well as available facilities and programmes that could support industry participation and innovation development.
The programme also included a visit to the MRANTI Intelligence Operation Centre (IOC), where participants were introduced to MRANTI’s ongoing initiatives and capabilities related to smart city technologies and digital innovation.
The engagement provided valuable insights into the current needs and focus areas being explored by MRANTI, while also opening opportunities for potential collaboration with MSCA members in supporting smart city development and innovation initiatives in Malaysia.
